For the client Infrabel and in the context of the Gewestelijk ExpressNet (GEN, or Brussels Regional Express Network), between 2010 and 2014 THV Watermaal (BAM Contractors and Jan De Nul) realised a one-kilometre-long covered culvert, the bedding works, the renovation of two bridges and construction of a 600-metre platform. All of this was in order to increase the tracks from 2 to 4 and to increase the speed of the trains to 160 km/hr.
