Platform renovation Area North East

Raising, equipping and modernising platforms at various stops - Area North East - Part Alken, Sint-Truiden and Kiewit

The works within this contract mainly consist of:

• Detailed study per stop, using the building blocks included in the specifications;
• Breaking out and removing low or medium platform edges and replacing them with raised platform edges;
• Removal of current platform furniture;
• Breaking out of flooring and barriers;
• Locating and temporarily protecting cables;
• Earthmoving;
• (Re)installation of monitoring wells;
• Construction of waiting tubes, pipes and cables;
• Flooring works;
• Drainage works;
• Installation of platform furniture: shelters, benches, timetable signs, etc.
• Installation of platform installations: lighting, sound system, electrical installation, barriers, etc.
